This
box was the result of several experiments. I've made
stir-fried cabbage and
fried plantains
many times, but the skewered
beef-wrapped mushrooms and
sakura-mochi
(mochiko version) were both "Hmm, wonder
how this'll turn out?" deals. The answer, in both
cases, was that they came out well. If they hadn't,
of course, I wouldn't bother to mention them on this
site!
This was the second recipe I tried for sakura-mochi,
and it's by far tastier than the first. I'm still looking
for something that resembles what I've seen elsewhere
without being a complete pain to make, though. The quest
continues.
