Donburi
is easy to make if you already have leftover rice in
the fridge! And this meal was another dish inspired
by the materials. I noticed the funky shapes made by
broccoli stems as they branched
out into florets. They look sort of like those psychedelic
stars/flowers from the '60s and '70s. How about that, I didn't even need a
cookie cutter; those shapes are all-natural. So I placed
them on the rice to make a floral pattern which looks
better in closeup than that thumbnail. With 'em is some
more of the stir-fried chicken I used in yesterday's
meal.
On the other side - grapes, orange segments, and
almond cake.
