Not liver Some time ago I got to thinking about pizzas I had in my childhood. There were lots of Stouffer's frozen French bread pizzas, which I liked much better than regular frozen pizza. And then there were my mother's "Weight Watchers' pizzas,*" which were basically a slice of toast tricked out with pizza-like toppings. So, since I was baking French bread anyway, I made a few flattened hoagie-sized rolls, then sliced them in half and made my own French bread pizza. It was quite good! Maybe serving it with edamame is kind of odd, but I couldn't let those nooks and crannies go unfilled.

* I'm pretty sure that these were her own invention. I don't see any reference to them on the Weight Watchers site, at least.

Wanna talk about it?
