Today's
lunch is a ham sammitch.
That's deli ham on homemade French bread with mayo and
lettuce. It's not exciting, it's not exotic, but it tastes
good. And I make some excellent French bread, if I do
say so myself. With it are some snow pea crisps and
a pair of sanshoku dango. These dango are colored balls
of rice dough
with a center of sweet red bean paste, which makes them
basically small, spherical daifuku. (Sanshoku dango
are actually supposed to come in threes, colored white,
green, and pink, on a skewer, but mine were packaged frozen
and unskewered.)
Wanna talk
about it?
