Ahhh, comfort food! I made omurice. However, I was a little short of eggs, so this lunch features naked omurice, which is the filling by itself. I've been told that "chicken-rice," basically omurice without the omelet wrapper, is a popular Japanese food, but I haven't found any references to that myself. There's also some cassava fritters, steamed broccoli, and almond cake.

Friday! This has been one long, draggy weekend full of pollen and headaches, and now cold wind. Hey, I'm an American taxpayer, I shouldn't have to put up with this! The Government ought to do something about it, like closing the borders to foreign air masses and legislating pollen emission limits!
