This
lunch starts out innocently enough with some teriyaki squid over stir-fried
cabbage. (is it just me, or does the teriyaki squid
look a little like a section of bicycle tire?) And there's
a steamed bun and some
bacon and enoki mushroom
stir-fry. But when we go to the other side things
get a little weird. We find hash
purples, which are hash browns made with purple
Peruvian potatoes. Up above that is a vividly pink sakura mochi (mochiko
version), and some purple grapes.
Purple Peruvian potatoes are groovy. I need to get
some more. Someone open a farmer's market near me!
