First of all, if there's any harem action going on in here, I missed it. What a waste of a good hentai title, eh?

This'll be short and sweet, as I have only been able to translate one of the gags well enough to describe (i.e. spoilerize) it. (The gag in question is about the "male bonding" ritual, and Zidane is startled to see that not only Vivi's face is blacked out.) But, IMO, that's okay - the artwork here is what I like about this book. The cover is fine, though the closer I look at it the less I like Zidane and Garnet's faces. It could be their expressions, or how "blurry" they seem compared to the black ink outlines of the rest of the picture.

Inside... well, I just like the art. Nice inking, nicely weighted lines that actually are not done by pressing on the brush - if you look closely you can see that the thicker lines are just thinner lines close together. You'll have to trust me there, as I'd have to post a much higher-res scan to get that across, and my webspace is not unlimited. The drawing is nice, page composition, et cetera. The characters look like themselves, even Steiner, for whom that is more the exception than the rule.

The back cover has an image of "Jenomu 3 kyoudai" ("three Genome siblings," namely Mikoto, Zidane, and Kuja) impaled on a stick like fish to be roasted. Or foosball players. Yikes. Do I want to know?
