 What do you like on sub sandwiches? You're limited
only by your imagination and the size of your bento
box. You can buy bread for sub sandwiches, for example
hoagie rolls or French bread baguettes, or you can bake
your own as I have. A tip: leaf lettuce (as opposed
to shredded) just inside the bread will keep it from
getting all soggy with tomato, meat, and other juices.
If you won't be able to refrigerate it, leave out the
mayo or use squeezy packages from fast food places.
Here's what I've made so far:
- Roast Beef: deli-sliced roast beef, iceberg
lettuce, tomato slices, and mayo on French bread.
