[Opening: a montage of scenes from the third season showing Dot and Phong at the map table, then Enzo losing to Zaytan, the adult Matrix and AndrAIa, the Saucy Mare in the web, Web Bob's face and subsequent merging with Glitch, their return to Mainframe and reunion with their friends, Matrix's battle with Megabyte, Megabyte versus The Webcreature, Bob fixing Hexadecimal's face, Bob shutting down the sectors, the system's restoration, some kissin', Little Enzo's return, the system, Our Heroes, and finally the ReBoot logo. Over the montage are a set of credits.]

[The camera comes in on Mainframe from the Energy Sea. The camera rises over Mainframe, revealing a second system beyond it, linked by a bridge. The second system looks like a slightly smaller, rotated mirror image of Mainframe.]

Girls Just Wanna Do Lunch[Baudway. Dot's Diner is under construction. A flying vehicle lowers the D into place. A construction binome, boom box on his shoulder, walks by. When he passes we see Dot, Enzo, and Frisket. Dot is much younger, and is dressed in the height of Cyndi Lauper punky fashion and looking at an organizer. A younger Enzo is hopping around. Frisket is just a puppy. Binomes are carrying seats for the booth into the diner.]
Enzo:
Sis, hurry up! We'll be late!
Dot:
Enzo, I'll be finished a lot quicker without you pestering me.
Enzo:
But Dad's experiment!
Dot:
We've got plenty of time. It's only - [looks at her organizer] Oh, no! [calling to a binome on the Diner's roof] Jimmy, take over! We're late! I'll be back ASAP!
[Jimmy waves agreement. Dot nods to Enzo. Then she hears something and looks over. The binomes also look. A bright light appears in the distance. Dot raises her glasses. The light goes down into a circular formation in the center of the second system, where the Principle Office would be. Then it explodes. The explosion tears outward through the smaller system from the center. A shock wave passes through the area where the Diner is under construction, throwing Dot, Enzo, and a binome into the air. Binomes, construction equipment, and the D are blown away. A Diner window shatters inward. The scene goes to white. Then we see Dot asleep at a large table.]
Dot:
[startling awake] No!
[Dot looks around, wide-eyed and disoriented. Then she closes her eyes, looking close to tears. She glances at a red glowing thingy on her left wrist. Then she looks around again, more determined now.]

Wind in my hair, bugs in my teeth
[Bob flies - without a Zip board - to the Principle Office. The Pinnacle subsphere opens into six slices. Bob lands just inside it. A VidWindow showing Phong opens before him.]
Phong:
Diverting Core energy. Releasing tear - now!
[A tear rises out of the top of the Principle Office, in front of Bob. Bob hurls energy at it. It stabilizes into a tear that seems to lead to The Edge of Beyond. The portal drifts upward, then stops. Seen in a VidWindow, Bob speaks to Phong.]
Bob:
Portal stable. I've time locked it to collapse in two nanos.
Phong:
[turning away and tapping at his "beard"] Let us hope that is enough time.
[Between Hack and Slash, the door to Dot's office opens, and she strides out determinedly. Hack slams into Slash's shoulder, then the bots follow her. Dot walks past Enzo over to Phong.]
Dot:
[to Phong] You should've called me!
Enzo:
[to Phong] Toldja!
Phong:
[to Dot] You needed the rest, my child.
Dot:
Any word from Matrix and AndrAIa?
[Phong shakes his head.]
Dot:
[putting her glasses on] Put the net on the main screen.
[An image showing Matrix, AndrAIa, Captain Capacitor, and Ray Tracer - the last two of which have a red slash through them - collapses, revealing a rotating globe with blue weblike markings.]
Dot:
Go 2-D.
[The globe unfolds into a flat map. The weblike markings are arranged very similarly to the continents on Earth. Green ripples through it, lighting it up.]
Enzo:
It's all green!
Phong:
Daemon's infection grows.
[The map is covered by a graphic of a circle. 9/16 of it is green and the rest is blue.]
Mouse:
I've got it!
[She taps on a copy of the map at her station. It zooms in, showing circles connected by lines, and unconnected circles.]
Dot:
Are they all right?
[The display now shows large green shapes being chased by two small yellow shapes.]
Mouse:
No, sugah. I don't believe they are. Leader of the Pack
[The images on the screen fade to ships flying in The Edge of Beyond. The two smaller ships are now being chased and fired on by the larger ships, which look something like spiders with jet engines on the ends of their legs. Two of the spider ships collide and explode. The smaller ships double back and fly through the cluster of larger ones. Matrix and AndrAIa, the pilots of the smaller motorbike-like vehicles, fly beside each other.]
Matrix:
I'm beginning to see what'cha like about bikes!
AndrAIa:
Told you!
[Matrix hears a beep and looks down. A red circular doohickey like Dot's is glowing.]
Matrix:
Time to go home!
[Matrix, then AndrAIa, pull forward. The camera pans across to show a portal sphere through which Mainframe is visible. Cut to the subsphere, and the portal above it, in Mainframe. Bob is talking to Dot via a VidWindow.]
Dot:
How is it, Bob?
Bob:
We're out of time. Tell Phong we'll have to generate another- Death wish
[Matrix and AndrAIa's flycycles come out of the portal, knocking the VidWindow away and spinning Bob around. Then several of the spider ships follow them, nearly ramming Bob, who doesn't even try to get out of the way. The portal closes. One spider ship crashes. AndrAIa pulls up beside Bob.
AndrAIa:
Sorry, Bob. We thought we'd lost them!
Bob:
They're going for the port. They're trying to open us to the Net!
[A spider ship flies for the port. An anti-aircraft gun comes out or a trash can and starts firing. Another gun fires upward. A third gun, this one in a mailbox, fires. In the Principle Office, Dot speaks to a blue-pupiled CPU binome.]
Dot:
They're only attacking Kits Sector. Concentrate your fire there.
[The CPU salutes and walks off. Phong wheels in.]
Phong:
[agitated] They... do not care!
Dot:
Sorry, Phong. Have you got something for me?
[Phong is watching a spider ship flying toward the port. It flies through and then up again.]
Phong:
It is suicide. They do nothing to defend themselves!
Dot:
Well, that's their problem. Mouse, bring 'em down!
Mouse:
I'm on it!

[CPUs run in front of guns which are firing upwards. Two spider ships fly toward the port from over the sea. Guns along the rim of the system fire at them. Then both ships are struck from behind by beams of light. Matrix flies between them just before they collide and explode. He looks back over his shoulder, grinning. Bob and AndrAIa are still by the Pinnacle.]
Bob:
No! This can't be happening!
AndrAIa:
Bob, we've gotta help Matrix fight the Guardians!
Bob:
[looking at AndrAIa] Guardians? TV-Y7V
[The binome-manned guns keep firing and the binomes keep scurrying. A shot hits the turret atop a spider ship. The ship crashes in flames. It bounces violently, then skids to a stop. CPU binomes run toward it. A turret below the ship rotates and fires. All four CPUs are hit, and vanish in bright light. The bottom of the ship lowers, revealing a blue-skinned viral Guardian in a uniform and face-covering helmet and holding a gun. He and two other uniformed Guardians run for what looks like a warehouse door. Seen from inside, a glowing line appears around the door, as if they are burning their way in. The door falls inward. Several Guardians rush in. One stops at the door and shoots, deleting two CPUs in flashes of light. A third deletes a fleeing binome, then slams a hand down on a big red button. An alarm goes off. Seen in the big VidWindow in the Command Room, the Guardian then shoots the camera, causing the image to disappear into static.]
Dot:
Let me see outside. Lose the static.
[On the VidWindow they see a yellow beam fired into the sky from a source on the rim. It hits the "sky," blowing a hole into The Edge of Beyond. The sound of a modem connecting is heard.]
Specks:
[panicky] We're online!
[There is an explosion at the base of the tower over the building that the Guardians invaded, then another near the top. The tower falls.]
Phong:
They have destroyed the control tower! We have no way of resealing the system!
Dot:
That's how Daemon operates. She's locked the door open!
Specks:
Sir, ma'am, [pointing] look!
[Many more spider ship images are visible on a monitor.]
Dot:
All guns, target, four point zero one! Lock and load. Prepare for viral attack. Mouse!
[Mouse, at another station, looks up at Dot.]
Dot:
Help.

[A swarm of spider ships are emerging from the hole in the sky.]
Bob:
[voiceover] Matrix, they're Guardians!
[Bob is between Matrix and AndrAIa's flycycles, high over the city.]
Bob:
[continuing] Every one of 'em.
Matrix:
That's what I've been saying.
Bob:
But, we can't delete Guardians! There must be another way.
AndrAIa:
Bob, we know how you feel about deletion, but what choice do we have?
Bob:
We can... drive them back! Seal the system again, that's it!
Matrix:
Look, Mainframe comes first! We must defend our home!
Bob:
Yeah. Mend and defend, not delete and defend.
[Matrix shakes his head, disgusted, then pulls away.]
AndrAIa:
All right, Bob, What's the plan?
[Bob looks upward, seemingly about to speak, then down, embarrassed.]

[Dot walks down the steps of the Command Room to Enzo.]
Dot:
What is he doing?!
[On the big VidWindow they see Bob fly up in front of the Spider ships.]
Dot:
He's placing himself between the armada and our long-range guns!
Enzo:
Maybe he's got a plan!
Dot:
Bob never had a plan in his life. He's making it up as he goes along! [to Specks] Send up everything we've got! Let's take the fight to them.
Specks:
[saluting] Yes sir, ma'am! Holomark! When you care enough to project the very best!
[Specks gestures at a CPU binomes, who presses some colored buttons. An alarm sounds. CPU vehicles take off from the Principle Office and fly toward the spider ships. Bob hovers in front of a spider ship, dwarfed by it and it's big double-gun turret. A horizontal disc appears before him. Above the disc appears a green holographic image of a Sprite, seen from the upper chest up. Bob startles.]
Cardon:
Your time has come. Lay down your arms, join with us.
Bob:
Cardon?
Cardon:
Yes, Bob!
[AndrAIa's flycycle is right behind Bob. When she speaks, Bob looks over.]
AndrAIa:
You two know each other?
Bob:
We roomed together at the academy.
Cardon:
That was the past. Now there is no past, no future, only the Word. And the Word is Daemon.
[Matrix's flycycle is hovering near a flock of CPUs.]
Matrix:
I've heard enough! Somebody's compensating
[Matrix presses a button on the handlebar with his thumb. It lights up red. The back of his cycle explodes into a porcupine of missiles. They launch toward the spider ships, flying in curly paths. Ships are blasted out of the air.]
Bob:
[horrified] No, Matrix, what're you doing?!
[The disc with the image of Cardon floats away. Cardon is screaming. The CPU vehicles fly forward. Ships swoop all around Bob and AndrAIa. The sky is fulla ships buzzing around and shooting at each other. Then the sky turns purple.]
System Voice:
Warning, incoming game. Warning, incoming game.
Bob:
[looking up] This is bad. This is very bad.

[PLACE COMMERCIAL HERE]
A spider ship flies overhead and crashes. The camera moves over to Mike the TV. People run around behind him, and light flashes above.] Where's an Everlasting Gobstopper when you need one?
Mike:
[yelping] Woohoo! Okay, that's it, get my agent on the VidWindow! [low voice] Whaddayou mean we're... [energetic camera voice] live from the heart of the battle! It's Mike the TV! The scene here is in-des-cribable... so I won't even try. Um... okay, let's take a look.
[The camera turns to briefly show a battle under the descending game cube. The camera comes back to Mike.]
Mike:
Well, there you have it! Will Mainframe repel Daemon's viral forces? Or will the overwhelming viral forces... overwhelm? Only time will tell!
[Mike leans forward and looks down as the camera viewpoint wanders.]
Mike:
Aw. Hey, Chantelle, I forgot to mention the game cube. Uh, can we go again?

[Bob shoots a sphere from his hands. It captures a spider ship. Matrix and AndrAIa chase another ship. Bob flies up in front of them. AndrAIa swoops to the side; Matrix stops.]
Bob:
Matrix!
Matrix:
I'm a little busy, Bob!
Bob:
Stop what you're doing! That's an order!
Matrix:
An order?
[As Bob speaks AndrAIa pulls up by Matrix.]
Bob:
A-and here's another. Go and defend that game. We can't afford to lose this sector now. I'll handle things here. Go!
[Matrix looks enraged.]
AndrAIa:
You heard the man, Sparky.
[AndrAIa starts toward the game.]
Matrix:
[to Bob] We'll talk about this later!
[Matrix turns and flies after AndrAIa. Bob looks up.]
Bob:
Huh. If there is a later.

Daemon has spoken.
[We see a brightly lit castle-like structure in the center of a ring of twelve spokes. At the end of each spoke is what looks like another system. Beyond are more linked systems. Presumably this is the Supercomputer. Cut to what looks like a glass window with another spokelike design and a pair of stylized wings etches into the glass. As the camera pans down a pendulum sweeps by twice. In front of the window is a chair like a small throne on which a very young woman sits. Seen from above, a man in a bulky cloak walks across a floor - which also bears a clocklike design - toward her. When seen closer, he is revealed as a red-haired, bearded, blue skinned viral Sprite with brown eyes. Two discs on the front of his outfit and the top of his staff also bear clocklike designs.]
Daecon:
My lady.
[Seen close up, Daemon's eyes open. Her skin is lavender, the whites of her eyes are blue, and her irises almost white. Clocklike symbols are faintly visible in her pupils.]
Daecon:
[continuing] We have opened another system. It... it resists the Word. Child prodigy
Daemon:
Impossible. [She stands and turns toward the "window."] Show me.
[The window blurs, then shows the turret being shot off a spider ship.]
Daemon:
[perplexed] Why do they suffer needlessly when the Word is inevitable?
Daecon:
There's more, my lady. We found him. We have a signal lock on Guardian 452.
[The window shows Bob launching a bubble from his hands.]
Daemon:
Bob, the final Guardian.
Daecon:
He has done the unthinkable and joined with his keytool.
Daemon:
They are inseparable?
Daecon:
Yes, my lady. He is the perfect messenger for the Word.
Daemon:
Prepare a zoom room. Bring my messenger home.
[ In the Command Room VidWindow, Dot watches Bob throw a bubble and catch a Spider ship.]
Dot:
What's he doing?!
Phong:
He is containing the enemy!
Dot:
Containing? W-what good is that?
Phong:
He is a Guardian, my child. He cannot go against his code!
Dot:
[sarcastically, gesturing at the VidWindow] Oh, really? Would you mind telling that to them?
Phong:
Bob may well be the last of his kind.
[A blue-pupiled CPU comes up behind Dot and Phong.]
CPU:
Sir! Ma'am! Confirmation! We have four defenders in the game!
Dot:
Four?! [She looks around. Her POV looks around, from the CPU to an empty spot at the wall to Hack and Slash, who glance at each other.] Enzo? Frisket? [anxiously] Oh no!

[Scene: the inside of the game. It is a large room that looks like it has been cut into stone. There is a meeting table, a shark tank, and a large, slowly spinning globe.]
Matrix:
[angrily] Naah! He sent us in here to get us out of the way!
AndrAIa:
Calm down.
Matrix:
He can't push me around like a kid! I'm not little Enzo any more!
[They hear Frisket, and turn to see the dog and Enzo standing nearby.]
Matrix:
What're you doing in a game?
Enzo:
[counting on his fingers] Dot's busy, Bob was too. You were fighting the Guardians, so I thought, who's gonna fight the game?
[AndrAIa kneels in front of Enzo and Frisket.]
Matrix:
Well, we don't need your help! [lower voice] Sorry, Frisket. Didn't mean you. [louder, to Enzo] Just stay outta the way!
AndrAIa:
Enzo, he's worried about you. That's just his way of showing he cares. Matrix-
Matrix:
[surly] Yeah. That's right.
Enzo:
Okay! Let's do it then!
[Enzo reaches for Frisket's icon.]
Matrix:
No!
[Enzo taps his and Frisket's icons.] It had to happen.
Enzo:
Reboot! Green light explodes around them. Enzo becomes a bald, green dwarf in white clothes. Frisket becomes a grey Chihuahua. Enzo looks at himself. Frisket whines.]
Enzo:
[dismayed] Awwww.
[AndrAIa stands up.]
Matrix:
Aw, why did he do that? Now he's a viable target for the User.
AndrAIa:
Look, Enzo, you stay here with Matrix, I'll go and get the User. If he gets past me, it's up to you.
Enzo:
Alphanumeric!
Matrix:
[embarrassed] Please tell me I never used to say that!
Enzo:
Well, you must have. I'm you. We're the same!
Matrix:
We're not the same!
[Matrix and AndrAIa click their icons.]
Matrix and AndrAIa:
Reboot! It Hadda Happen, Part II
[Light explodes around them. Matrix becomes a bald green-skinned man in a white suit. AndrAIa gains a '70s getup with a silver halter top and purple hair. Matrix looks at himself. Enzo stares at him, then covers his mouth and grins widely. AndrAIa looks at Matrix and laughs. Matrix holds his hand up to his face and extends his pinky toward his mouth.]
Matrix:
[as Dr. Evil] Marvelous.
[Bob throws another bubble and catches another ship. Bob slumps forward, looking weak, and turns semitransparent. Then he faints and falls toward the Energy Sea. Hexadecimal catches him in her arms.]
Hexadecimal:
Bob, need a hand? [She draws a finger down her armor.]
Bob:
[tiredly] Uh... Hex. What're you doin' here?
Hexadecimal:
Well, I thought I could help. After all, you are my favorite Guardian.
Bob:
[surprised] You? Help? Little bit of rust there
Hexadecimal:
I'm better, remember? I've even got my own icon! [She gestures, drawing her hand under it, highlighting it in its scenic location.] It's very pretty.
Bob:
Heh, yeah. That's right. I forgot.
[They dissolve into light and fragments, then re-form in a park.]
Hexadecimal:
Nice here, isn't it?
[There is rubble here and there in the park. Mike zooms into frame. As Mike blathers, Hex is perplexed and Bob is annoyed.]
Mike:
Mike the TV here, with an exclusive! Bob and Hexadecimal team up to defeat Daemon's viral hordes! Oh yes, you heard it here first, folks! [Shatnering] Bob, as a close personal friend of mine, could you tell the viewers your plan?
Bob:
[exasperated] Uh! Mike, I haven't got time.
[They both hear something overhead, and look up. A boxlike thing comes out of the hole in the sky and lands on Bob, then zooms away with the Guardian. Hexadecimal looks up, then at Mike as the TV jabbers, then up again.]
Mike:
[to the camera nome] You, y'you got that, didn't you? Oh, please, tell me you got that!
Hexadecimal:
[indignantly, still looking up] How rude!
[Hexadecimal extends a hand toward the hole and blasts energy toward it. Bob appears beside her, crouching. He looks at her, surprised, then stands up.] Get me outta here
Hexadecimal:
[casually] Sorry, Bob. You were saying?
Bob:
What happened? What'd you do?
Hexadecimal:
Nothing much. But I'm beginning to realize, I've got a wicked sense of humor!
[Hexadecimal leans back, closes her eyes, and cackles. Bob's attempt at a smile looks very pained.]

[The zoom room clams down in Daemon's chapel. It disappears, revealing a trembling Mike the TV. Daemon and Daecon stare at him. Frightened, Mike looks around at the masked figures standing around the room.]
Mike:
Oh my.
Daemon:
'Allo, little one.
Mike:
A-a-am I deleted?
Daemon:
Deleted? [laughs softly] No. You are in the Supercomputer.
Mike:
[babbling] Oh, well, that's a relief, heh heh. [worriedly] Or is it. [babbling] Well, I've, uh, always wanted to visit the Supercomputer! So much about it! Did I mention I'm Mike the TV? Think I'll just take in some of the sights, you know, do the "tourist thing," I can see you're busy. I'd be in the way here! [turning to leave] I'll leave you to your plotting and your-your conniving - huh - Hey, nice to meet you! Get your people to call my people, we'll do the lunch thing, heh heh. Bye! [He poses as if to run away.]
Daemon:
[standing] Michael.
[Mike looks over in dread.]
Mike:
[terrified] You're... Daemon... aren't you?
Daemon:
Yes. Did you expect something else? Ah Have Seen the Light!
Mike:
Well, actually - yes. I mean, where are the talons and, and the teeth and the spiky things? You're a little small for a Supervirus, aren't you?
[Looking at Daecon, Daemon giggles and brings her hands together, wiggling her fingers. Then she steps down the two stairs from her throne and touches the ground with the tip of her boot. Green energy arcs from it and across the floor to Mike. When it clears from him, his screen is edged with glowing yellow veinlike marks.]
Mike:
[speaking like a televangelist] Ah! I have heard the Word, and the Word is Daemon! Bob's loss is my gain. [bowing] Oh, I'm not worthy! If only he were here.
Daecon:
I will see to it immediately, my lady.
[Daecon walks away. Daemon walks toward Mike.]
Daemon:
Let us walk a while together, Michael. I'm sure you have loads of fascinating things to tell me about Bob.
[Daemon takes Mike's hand, and the two walk away from the camera.]
Mike:
By the way, can we still do the tourist thing?

[PLACE COMMERCIAL HERE]
[The camera comes in on the exterior of the game cube. A spider ship crashes into the top. Inside. AndrAIa walks down a hall. The door at the end slides open. Inside is a gaudily colored room with a "LOVE"poster on the wall and a big, circular, rotating bed. AndrAIa walks in. The User, a rather icky man with dreadful teeth, jumps onto the bed and, standing on it, begins speaking to AndrAIa and gyrating in a way that in some universes might be considered sexy.]
User:
[smarmily] Oh, you are awful but I like you baby.
AndrAIa:
Oh brother.
User:
I see my karma's working, baby! Yeah!

[Bob is sitting on some rubble in the park, and Hex is standing behind him and giving his armor a shoulder massage.]
Bob:
But, Hex- Let me whisper sweet nulls in your ear.
Hexadecimal:
Now, shush. Ohh, there, I knew it, you're a bundle of knots. You're working too hard, it's that Dot. She's a workaholic, she expects too much from people. You need some downtime. We could go down together. [She grins suggestively.]
Bob:
Uhh.. that's a good idea, but - but I can't! I gotta defend the system.
Hexadecimal:
[laughs] Ignore them! I'm sure Dot has one of her plans.
Bob:
But... you said you'd help.
Hexadecimal:
Help you! And - this is helping you, isn't it?
Bob:
It's, uh- [There is a zapping noise, and he startles and turns momentarily semitransparent.] Uh! Great, Hex, but - but I can't relax when the entire system is about to be taken over by a Supervirus!
Hexadecimal:
You don't have a problem with Viruses, do you?
Bob:
No, uh, not all of 'em, not you, not now, but this is a bad Virus, Hex. Nothin' like you.
Hexadecimal:
So you'd feel better if they all went away?
Bob:
Well... yeah.
Hexadecimal:
Okay. Wait here. [She walks away.]
Bob:
Uh, Hex, one thing.
[Hexadecimal turns back toward him.]
Bob:
[continuing] You mustn't delete an of them. Just get them out of Mainframe, okay?
Hexadecimal:
Okay.
[Bob watches as Hexadecimal rises into the air.]

[In the game, Matrix puts a cigarette lighter and a box of cigarettes, both colored gold, together with one hand to make a gun, and looks at it. Enzo peers over the table. Then AndrAIa drags the User in. She throws him forward, so he lands on his hands and knees. He is missing his pants.]
User:
Hey!
AndrAIa:
Hi, boys.
Matrix:
Huh! That's the User?
[The User rise to his knees and looks indignant. He is wearing heart covered briefs.] Kill it. Kill it now.
Matrix:
[continuing] Hey, what happened to his pants?
AndrAIa:
[laughing] Don't ask. What do we do to win this one?
[Matrix puts the barrel on the gun, then points it at the User.]
Matrix:
Gun! Targeting!
User:
[laughing and making weird arm gestures] Karma, don't fail me now!
[The sound of a shot is barely heard as the game cube rises into the sky.]
System Voice:
Game over.
[Hexadecimal flies up. Hovering above the system, she screams and gathers energy in her hands. Various symbols - ASCII text in weird fonts and more arcane symbols - flow outward from it. The energy washes over the spider ships. Glowing yellow, they fly toward each other and accrete in a big clump. Ship flies to the hole in the sky. Mouse works the controls with a determined look on her face. Senders shoot from Ship and ring the hole. Ship flies back down.]
Hexadecimal:
Go away!
[Hexadecimal sweeps her hands forward. The glowing ball o' ships flies through the hole. The hole is immediately covered by a firewall. Hexadecimal leans back with a satisfied smile. The ball of ships tumbles through The Edge of Beyond, where it starts to separate.]

[Establishing shot of Daemon's lair in the Supercomputer.]
Mike:
[voiceover] You wouldn't believe it! There were bargains galore! All at the incredible price of ninety-nine, ninety-nine, ninety-niiiine!
[Mike the TV is walking with Daemon.]
Mike:
Now, Bob - ah, did I mention that I'm a close personal friend of Bob?
[Daemon turns to face Bob and crosses her arms.]
Daemon:
Several 'undred times.
Mike:
[laughing] Well, Bob, as it turns out, he didn't buy anything! [laughs] Can you believe that!
[Daecon walks over.]
Daecon:
My lady, it's Mainframe. They have driven our forces back into the Net and resealed their system.
Daemon:
And my messenger?
Daecon:
I've failed you.
Daemon:
[laying her hand on his arm] You are forgiven. But, I'm surprised. This Guardian is more powerful than I could imagine!
Daecon:
It-it wasn't their Guardian. They have a Virus that protects them.
Mike:
Oh, that'll be Hexadecimal. She's mad.
Daemon:
Michael, you know this Virus?
Mike:
Know her? Oh, c'mon, I used to live with her! Course, not in the Biblical sense.

[A Zero nurse takes the armband of an energy transference device off of Bob. A white-coated One is standing on one end of a board in front of Bob, examining him. Hexadecimal lands on the other end of the board, launching the binome into the sky. She poses, arms out, on one leg.]
Hexadecimal:
Ta-daaaah!
Bob:
[clapping] Thanks, Hex.
[He freezes. Hex leans close and, smiling, touches her cheek.]
Hexadecimal:
Ki-iss.
[Bob looks reluctant for a nano, then closes his eyes and leans toward her. She grabs him, swings him so he is lying face-up across her lap, and smooches him. He stiffens and makes muffled noises of protest. When they part he pants for air.]
Hexadecimal:
Now, about that downtime... *ahem*
[She draws a finger down his front. Bob looks terrified. Then a VidWindow showing Dot appears before them.]
Dot:
[shocked] Bob!
Hexadecimal:
[sourly] Oh, hello, Dot.
Bob:
Uh - I'll get back to you.
[Hex smirks. Bob taps the VidWindow's lower right corner. It closes.]
Dot:
Oh!
Bob:
Hex, please.
[There is a flash of light from the general region of Hexadecimal's upper torso.]
Hexadecimal:
[smiling widely] Oh, Bob!
Bob:
[getting off of her lap] That wasn't me!
[They both stands. She looks down at her icon, which is spinning and glowing.]
Hexadecimal:
Ooooh, it tickles. S-should it do that? [becoming alarmed] Bob... help.
[Her icon stops spinning. A white glow spreads outward along her corset from behind the icon.]
Hexadecimal:
[frightened] It's changing me!
Bob:
Hex! Stay calm!
[Seen from above, nulls swarm toward Hexadecimal from all sides. As Hexadecimal shrieks they swarm up her legs and body. Bob grabs her shoulders, flickers, and falls away. She is now enclosed in a mound of nulls.]
Hexadecimal:
[screaming] Bob!
[The nulls rise up to cover her face. The camera viewpoint pulls back to show a Nullzilla-like shape on a VidWindow... which is on the back of a DVD case in Phong's hands.] Product placement, my son
Enzo:
What's a Nullzilla?
Phong:
Watch this.
[Enzo takes the DVD from Phong and looks at it.]
Matrix:
I toldja, we should never have given a Virus a PID!
[Bob and Dot are in front of the big VidWindow in the Command Room, looking at Nullzilla Mark 2.]
Matrix:
[continuing] Nothin' good's gonna come outta this!
Bob:
Matrix, Hex just saved us. Have you no compassion?
Matrix:
For a Virus? No! And we didn't need her help until you sent us into the game. [childishly] We were doing fine.
Dot:
Matrix!
[Frisket leans out from behind Matrix's leg and growls.]
Dot:
Frisket!
Bob:
It's all right, Dot, let him get it out of his system.
[Hack and Slash zoom into the scene on the VidWindow.]
Hack:
Nibbles!
[The bots zoom off to the side. A green null squirms away in the other direction.]
Slash:
Come back, little fellow!
[The two bots cross the screen again. The null crosses again, and is followed by the bots. They chase back and forth.]
Hack:
There he is!
Slash:
Coming through!
Hack:
Henchmen in a hurry!
Dot:
Now what?
Bob:
They still look after Nibbles?
Dot:
I think they're just covering their ASCIIs,
[Enzo looks up, surprised, at Dot.]
Dot:
[continuing] just in case Megabyte comes back.
Bob:
Ohhh, thanks for that thought.
[The green null squirms for the null mass and crawls over and into it. The blob throbs, then forms a rough face.]
Null Blob:
Ahh! I live! Daughter, help!
Bob:
Whoa. Now that's new.
Dot:
[softly] Enzo?
[Enzo's jaw is trembling, as if he is about to cry.]
Matrix:
I-I can't believe it.
AndrAIa:
What is it? [to Dot] You two look like you've seen a ghost! Um... HOW is that Dad?
Enzo:
[near tears] Sis - that's Dad, isn't it? That's our Dad!
Bob:
What?
Dot:
[shakily] Bob... that's our father. That... thing... is Welman Matrix.
[Fade out as they look at the blob in the VidWindow.]
