Eventually
tofu was going to have to turn up in one of my lunches.
And, actually, it's fairly nice when mixed in with other
stuff. In this case, I've got stir-fried tofu
that was marinated in the juice from marinated stir-fried beef and
sauteed mushrooms.
Also made some of my typical crab & cucumber sushi,
plus fried green
tomatoes with buttermilk sauce (in the red container) and grapes.
I taught muself to make fried green tomatoes after
having a serving of them at Folks. Why'd I tried them?
It was soon after I saw the movie, and I was curious.
They aren't the easiest dish to make, in part because
it can be difficult to find tomatoes that are just right.
