Another
weekend, another trip to 99 Ranch Market to get neat
stuff! That included more squid, and some carrot noodles.
Carrot noodles are like vegetable noodles, except slightly
orange and carrotty tasting. I wanted to try those as
soon as I got home, so I made up a batch of stir-fry
and mixed it in with the noodles. So, here we have carrot
noodles with baby squid, shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts,
and lotus rootlets on a bed of steamed broccoli.
And on the other side, we have apple slices, longans,
tamarind, and two pieces
of sanshoku dango.
